Day 1: BANGKOK

Arrive in Bangkok. Meet the guide/driver and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2: CITY TOUR / JOIN BASIS (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart on a city & temple tour of Bangkok.

Thonburi is the western part of Bangkok, situated on the right side of the Chao Phraya River. Its many canals had originally given Bangkok the name “Venice of the East.” Visit the amazing Grand Palace. The Grand Palace is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court.

It used to be the residence of the Kings of Thailand. Here you will see palaces that were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. Also visit the Wat Po or the Reclining Buddha, and the Golden Buddha, Wat Trimit. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3: TUK TUK TOUR (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy visiting the bustling city of Bangkok by Tuk Tuk (cycle rickshaw) today. Firstly, we visit the famous Four-Faced Buddha.

This cycle trip is a fascinating glimpse into the Bangkok of old. We proceed to explore the bustling Chinatown area before crossing the Chao Phraya to the more serene and often less visited temples and sites of Thonburi. Riding along quiet back roads of this area, stopping at the occasional market as we head to the Princess Mother Memorial Park and museum, although small, but well kept and well worth a visit.

The lesser-known temples, sampling of a local Thai dessert, Temple of Dawn, etc, are all part of this interesting and varied tour. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 4: RICE BARGE CRUISE / JOIN BASIS (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. We think this is one of Southeast Asia’s most unique tours. Starting with an exciting trip by “local” speed boat, often negotiating Klongs, barely ten feet across, you’ll be transferred to our comfortably converted rice barges for a leisurely trip back towards the city. There are unlimited free drinks, hard or soft; typical Thai fruits, and snacks.

Return to the pier and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Bangkok

Day 5: FLOATING MARKET/ JOIN BASIS (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. This most interesting tour takes you to the rural floating market of Damnoen Saduak, situated 110 km west of Bangkok.

The tour includes a long-tail boat ride along the canals as well. The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is a very attractive place for tourists to see the old-style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables, etc, from small boats.

You will also see traditional Thai houses, the way they live, and travel by boat. Return to Bangkok. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 6: BANGKOK – CHIANG MAI (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning. Transfer to the railway station for the train to Chiang Mai. Overnight on board

Day 7: CHIANG MAI – KHANTOKE DINNER / Join basis (D)

Arrive at Chiang Mai, meet the guide/driver, and transfer to the hotel. Relax and explore by yourself. Enjoy a Khantoke Dinner. Have dinner in the northern style, which is served on the small round table called “TOKE”, with the local food (sticky rice, fried pork skin, northern chili paste, pork curry, sweet crispy rice, and deep fried banana) and you can also enjoy the traditional performances such as a victory drum dance, fingernailed dance, silk riding dance, sword dance, and hill tribe dances. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 8: CHIANG MAI TOUR / JOIN BASIS (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Perched on top of the mountain, which overlooks the city and is also the most important landmark of Chiang Mai. The temple was built in the 13th century and contains a golden pagoda that houses a part of the holy relics of the lord Buddha. You will visit the Hmong Hill Tribe to see their lifestyle.

Also, visit the handicraft village along Sankampang Road, which is well well-known place among visitors, both Thai and foreigners, for their local products since Chiang Mai was an independent kingdom. The villagers with their unique skills created the masterpiece for their respective persons, including for the royal family.

The process continues and is inherited from generation to generation and becomes the home industry which makes their products very famous throughout the country. The trip will visit several factories to see the procedure of those products, such as umbrella making and painting, silverware, lacquerware, celadon, wood carving, and Thai silk.

Day 9: CHIANG RAI & GOLDEN TRIANGLE DAY TRIP / JOIN BASIS (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Chiang Mai in the early morning and make a short break at Mae Kachan hot spring on the way which is for relaxation or you can enjoy your morning coffee and the scenery After that, continue the drive to Chiang Rai (the northernmost point of Thailand) and visit “Chiang Saen” the ancient city located on the Khong River Bank before heading to the Golden Triangle a well-known place as one of the world biggest producing area, which now a day become one of the landmark of Chiang Rai, you can see the scenery where Thailand, Burma, and Laos meet.

After that, travel to “Mae Sai”, the border between Thailand and Myanmar (Burma).

On the way back, hill tribe people who migrated from China. And enjoy the variety of views and paddy fields. Return to Chiang Mai late evening. Overnight at Chiang Mai (Lunch included).

Day 10: ELEPHANT SAFARI / Join basis (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Feeding the elephants with bunches of bananas before they walk into the river for their daily bathing.

Then, they will demonstrate how to log in to the jungle from the previous day. Next, enjoy the elephant riding through the jungle (up – downhill) and into the river, and visit the Lizu Hill tribe Village.

After lunch, relax with the scenery along the river by the bamboo rafting and do an ox-cart ride that will take you to the local village. Then visit the beautiful orchid farm on the way back. (Lunch included). Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 11: INTHANON NATIONAL PARK / JOIN BASIS (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Thailand’s highest peak (2,565 meters above sea level, where the shrine of the last king of Chiang Mai is located) and enjoy the differences in flora, fauna, and scenery. (Inthanon Mountain is a part of the Himalaya Mountains where you can enjoy the rain forest with the beautiful rhododendron.

Visit the pagodas that the people built for the king and the queen when they reached the age of 60.

After that, visit the most beautiful waterfall called “Wachirathan Waterfall" (Lunch included). Overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 12: CHIANG MAI – LAMPANG (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Lampang. Visit the famous Wat Phra That Luang, and ride in a carriage between the old Lanna houses. Also, visit Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao, which combines the types of Burmese, Laotian, and Thai. Overnight at Lampang

Day 13: LAMPANG – PHITSANLUK – AYUTTAYA (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Phistanluk. Visit the Chapel Phitsanulok & Wat Phra Sri Ratana Mahathat - is a major city landmark and houses Thailand's most beautiful and significant Buddha image, Phra Buddha Chinnarat, etc. Proceed to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital city of Thailand.

Visit the famous Bang Pa In, and the former summer residence of the kings of Ayutthaya, built in the 18th century.

There we’ll visit the Royal Palace, the Thai pavilion, and the Chinese-style Palace Wehat Chamrun with its trimmed bushes in elephant shapes. Continue to Ayutthaya, which used to be the capital of Siam from 1350 to 1767, and visit the most interesting temples like Wat Chaiwathanaram, Wat Phra Srisampetch. Overnight at Ayutthaya

Day 14: AYUTTAYA – BANGKOK (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to a hotel in Bangkok. Relax and overnight in Bangkok.

Day 15: BANGKOK – TRAD – KOH CHANG (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Trad province. Board the ferry at the pier to proceed to Koh Chang. Arrive at Koh Chang. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Koh Chang.
