DAY1: BANGKOK

Arrive in Bangkok and meet the guide & driver. Transfer to hotel and check-in. Overnight at Bangkok.

DAY2: CITY & TEMPLE TOUR (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. This tour includes three of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimitr with its invaluable Golden Buddha (5 ½ tons of solid gold) – Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings. The Grand Palace is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court.

It used to be the residence of the Kings of Thailand. Here you will see palaces that were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. Lunch at a local restaurant. Also, visit Wat Trimit.

Return to hotel. Overnight at Bangkok.

DAY3: TUK TUK TOUR OF BANGKOK (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. This cycle trip is a fascinating glimpse into the Bangkok of old. We take in some of the more popular Bangkok Landmarks: Chinatown, Wat Arun, and the Royal Barge Museum, but we also go off the beaten path and show you some lesser-known sites that are not on the tourist map.

Start by exploring the bustling Chinatown area before crossing the Chao Phraya to the more serene and often less visited temples and sites of Thonburi. Riding along quiet back roads of this area stopping at the occasional market as we head to the Princess Mother Memorial Park and museum, although small, but well kept and well worth a visit. The lesser-known temples, the Temple of Dawn, and the Royal Barge Museum are all part of this interesting and varied TUK TUK trip.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight at Bangkok.

DAY4: BANGKOK – CHIANG MAI BY TRAIN (B)

Breakfast at the hotel – Free morning. Evening transfer to the railway station for train to Chiang Mai.

Overnight on board train.

DAY5: CHIANG MAI (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and meet the guide/driver at a railway station. Breakfast en route. Transfer to hotel. Free time and overnight at Chiang Mai.

DAY6: ELEPHANT SAFARI, CHIANG MAI (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mae Taman elephant camp. Feeding the elephants with bunches of bananas before they walk into the river for their daily bathing. Next, enjoy elephant trekking through the jungle (up – downhill) and into the river and visit the Lizu Hill tribe Village. After lunch, relax a bit before proceeding to visit the beautiful orchid farm.

Later visit the Doi Suthep Temple, the most renowned temple of Chiang Mai. Perched on top of the mountain which overlooks the city and is also the most important landmark of Chiang Mai. The temple was built in the 13 century and contains a golden pagoda that houses a part of the holy relics of the Lord Buddha. Return to hotel. Overnight at Chiang Mai.

DAY7: CHIANG MAI - MAE HONG SON (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mae Hong Son, the quiet province of Northern Thailand. Visit the Long Neck Giraffe Women Hill tribe with rings around the neck and get an overview of their typical lifestyle. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight at Mae Hong Son.

DAY8: MAE HONG SON - PAI (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to the hillside town of Pai. Enjoy visiting Ban Nai Soi village and the nearby Hill tribe villages, the Minority hill tribe of Padang, Tham Lod, Visit Ban Phang Paek, and the Pai area of the Lisu hill tribe. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight at Pai.

DAY9: PAI - CHIANG DAO - ARUNOTHAI - DOI ANGKHANG (B,L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Doi An Khang. Also, visit the refugees of Chinese KMT Tchang Kai Chek and the Doi An Khang. Overnight at Doi An Khag. Lunch included.

DAY10: DOI ANKHANG (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Meo Hill tribe villages. Stop at the Thai Burmese border to explore. Lunch included. Overnight at Doi Angkhang.

DAY11: DOI AN KHANG - MAE SAI - DOI MAE SALONG - CHIANG SEAN (B, L)

Breakfast Early morning visit to the local market. Depart to visit Chiang Sean. Also, visit the Mae Sai border of Thailand & Myanmar. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the local villages of Ban Lorcha and Mae Salong villa, and visit Lisu village at Baan Mae Kaotom. Overnight at Chiang Sean.

DAY12: CHIANG SEAN - GOLDEN TRIANGLE - PHAYO - LAMPANG (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the famous Golden Triangle, Phra Dat. Enjoy a Mekong River ride before lunch. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch depart to Phayo. Visit Wat Si Kom Kam and proceed to Lampang. Visit Wat Phra Dhat Lampang Luang. Overnight at Lampang.

DAY13: LAMPANG – PHISTANLUK – AYUTTAYA (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Phistanluk province. Visit the Chapel Phitsanulok & Wat Phra Sri Ratana Mahathat - is a major city landmark and houses Thailand's most beautiful and significant Buddha image, Phra Buddha Chinnarat.

Later proceeded to visit Ayuttaya. Among the “must-see” attractions in Thailand is a visit to Ayuthaya, the former capital of Thailand situated 90 kms north of Bangkok. The principal sights are the gigantic bronze statues of Wat Mongkol Borpith, Wat Phra Srisanpetch, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. Also visit the Bang-Pa-In, the former Royal Summer Residence, which represents a fine example of Thai architecture. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight at Ayuttaya.

DAY14: AYUTTAYA – BANGKOK (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Bangkok. Sightseeing along the way. Lunch enroute. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Bangkok.

DAY15: BANGKOK- PHUKET (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Phuket. Meet the guide/driver and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Phuket.

DAY16: PHI PHI ISLAND LUXURY CRUISE / *Join program only (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from Rassada Pier onboard the luxury cruise. Discover the spectacular limestone rock formations of Phi Phi Island. Visit Maya Bay, where the movie "The Beach" was filmed, and go snorkeling & swimming in the crystal clear water in some of the nicest bays. The last stop at a lovely island with a great white sandy beach. Good spot to lay down and relax at the beach or go for more swimming and snorkeling in a nice reef around the island. Lunch included.

Return to the pier and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Phuket.

DAY17: PHANG NGA BAY & JAMES BOND ISLAND BY LONG TAIL BOAT/ *Join program only (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from the hotel to visit Phang Nga province. Discover the amazing landscapes of Phang Nga at Koh Panak and Koh Hong. Visit Tapu Island (Nails Island), visitors may wonder why it is still there when James Bond managed to blow up the secret solar weapon concealed in its interior. Explore the labyrinth of mangrove swamp and pass through 2 caves named Tham Lot Noi & Tham Lot Yai with their amazing stalactites. Lunch at Panyee Fishing Village. Afternoon enjoy snorkeling, swimming or simply relaxing on a white sandy beach. Return to Phuket and overnight stay.

DAY18: KHAI NOK & KHAI NUI ISLAND TOUR BY SPEED BOAT / *Join program only (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Speed boat tour of Khao Nok & Khai Nui islands. Lunch included.

DAY19: KRABI ISLAND TOUR / *Join program only (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. This tour offers the opportunity to enter a narrow passage leading to a lagoon with mangroves surrounded by the song of the birds. The afternoon includes a stop at Phra Nang Beach well known as being the most curious beach in Asia where rock formations hang making spectacular stalactites over the beach and swimmers. The climbers here enjoy their time. Phra Nang Beach is reachable only by boat as it is separated from the mainland by a mountain chain.

Visit Chicken Island (fine white sandy beach) or Poda Island before back to the pier. Lunch included. Return to hotel. Overnight at Phuket.

DAY20: PHUKET – DEPARTURE/HOME (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight home/next destination.
