Lying in the heart of the Night bazaar, The Small is a trendy boutique hotel in this Northern Thai city. Walk to the market, or hop onto a tuk-tuk to the old city to explore some of the temples. The much revered Doi Suthep, Bhuping Palace and the Botanical Gardens should be visited, and for some shopping there are the art galleries and handicraft centers. For relaxation after a long day, the hotel provides a pool but in a hardly ever seen shade of pink. Dining options include a Rooftop Restaurant, but guests can just as easily walk out and explore the numerous eateries in the vicinity. The rooms are bright, each with a massive mural over the headboard, and bathrooms that include both a hand held and rain shower. The Small Hotel Chiang Mai is trendy, and with all that it offers an excellent value-for-money option.
